Shetland South Mainland

What an action packed day of discovery, off the ferry at 7 and straight to Clickimin Broch before second breakfast (ha!) at Fjara on Lerwick sound, then to our fantastic Air B&B digs.  Then on to St Ninians Beach where the sun continued to shine, and a walk over to the headland out to the Atlantic.  Then down to Jarlshof, and history uncovered under our feet, such an amazing and atmospheric place and sharing those views with inhabitants long gone. Finally up to Sumburgh Head then back home to flop. Amazing first day showing Dave and Sam some of my favourite places, sadly Mousa Boat not running this year...so we'll just have to visit again to let them experience that too.
