Sophie had us awake at 6.15 this morning and, by the time we’d dropped her at school, we were both still feeling half asleep and lacking in energy.

After a morning of gardening and housework, a lunchtime swim perked us up a bit so that I was ready to face the annual negotiation with our car insurance provider to find a compromise between their quote (33% up on last year) and what I was prepared to pay.

We actually had some rain this afternoon which gave me the excuse to take the lazy option of an EWFB.

After a couple of back blips for the last two days, Ikve finally managed to get up to date.
