Heathrow

Busy day doing all the packing stuff and missing our trusty companion LV who makes the last day so memorable usually but he’s busy in Norfolk so we had to pack on the Southern Motor Homes van park. Interesting looking at vans and toying with the idea of seeing if we can upgrade - we’ll think about it - there are possibilities. Otherwise it was Uber to the wrong Heathrow Hilton Garden Hotel - can you believe there are actually 2 of them - so another Uber to the second one.

This view from the rooftop bar where we had a cocktail not quite in the same league as the Aviator where we normally finish up but very pleasant. The best news came when I went to check in for our flight and they offered us a ridiculously tiny price to upgrade to 1st class - couldn’t resist as a final treat before we go back to over 40 deg C and heat advisories. Oh well, bye bye UK for now!
