Arrival

The  Graemsay passenger ferry  which plies its trade between Stromness and Hoy leaves a wake of bouncy waves which are fun to have when we swim. In contrast, the much bigger Hamnavoe ferry leaves hardly any wake. This blip is of the Graemsay’s waves approaching the sea wall of the garden.

I met the Hamnavoe this afternoon just to make sure Porty swimming partner and husband  were actually on the boat. Once they have checked into their Airbnb we  will meet up for a meal at the Ferry Inn. I haven’t seen Sue since the middle of April- I hope we recognise each other.
