Long May She Reign

Some child having seen the Queen the getting keys to the City of Edinburgh and with chalk and an artistic bent has represented the Queen with her sceptre on the ground at Lister Square. The first heavy shower of rain and Queenie was gone!

Blipper Meles popped in to the Dower House late morning en route to donate a pint of her life blood to the good of humanity. That sounds an awful lot of blood. I hope they gave her some sweet tea and a biscuit to get her back on the #35 bus as it jolted its way back over the cobbles to Leith.

My visit to the doctor resulted in a referral for both a foot XRay and a visit to a podiatrist. I got the impression that the sore foot is not connected to the broken ankle.
