Wild flowers

From a short distance away this doesn't look very interesting but closer examination shows masses of flowers. Last year this area was very colourful one week's colours but not mainly with native flowers, I presume these were sown at the same time.
I got to the Health Walk this morning and then up to cafe (and home) and that was enough driving.
Cafe was really busy and the kitchen staff did really well to get the food out, especially as one was filling in for me and I was filling in for someone else so the usual systems were a bit askew.
There was a very heavy shower 30mins before we started but that didn't seem to deter people.
It was mid-afternoon before I got home but I did the washing (my turn) straightaway - and Mr Rat has just gone out to bring it in now the breeze has dropped.
Sat and read in the sun for a short while before getting the meal.
