London 2012 Olympics
We’ve got 110 post boxes painted gold in the UK, correlating to the number of medals won in the Olympics and Paralympics. All in the home town of the winners of said medals.
This one is in Bedford for Etienne Stott. There is another in Bedfordshire in Stotfold for Victoria Pendleton which I will get one day soon I hope.
It’s not in an easy to park location in town, but himself was driving today so I managed to nip out for 5 minutes and get my blip.
For my Bedfordshire postbox series of blips. It’s a GR, from the 1910-1936 era.
