Banded Demoiselle

We had a trip to Kirkby Gravel pits - now a site managed by Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust.  There were lots of damselflies about but my favourite was the Banded demoiselle. Such a colourful, beautiful , iridescent damselfly
The male is my main picture and I've put the female with green wings in extras.
