Calla Lily
We have lots of Callas in pots around the garden. They seem to overwinter successfully by drying out in the greenhouse then I just forget about them until spring when they get repotted if necessary. It’s always a surprise to see the exotic foliage emerge and this is the first one to flower.
It was a productive day - 3 Mattheuccia strutheropteris ferns moved to the far side, 3 Nepeta ‘Seven Hills Giant’ cut back’; delphiniums staked, lots of other deadheading and paeonias deadheaded and tidied up now the flowers have finished.
