Busy day

I loaded up BoBo and some of his flock and headed to the public library today for Farm Days. They let me set up in the library due to the excessive heat. We were done before 1pm but the heat index reached around 109’F this afternoon. Hot as blazes! I learned to really love this little “banty” rooster. He is so calm and gentle, not at all like their reputations. He actually napped in my arms. Lots of kids came through. All the little banties did so well and were quite popular. I’ve added a couple of extras. The little blonde owns 3 chickens: Tic, Tac, and Toe! :—)) She stayed with me quite a while! I knew the other little girl from my school nurse days. It was great to connect again. Not sure she had ever held a chicken till today. I got to see several of my school babies. It was a fun day.
