The road to hell…

The day started well.

All organised and out of the Calf Shed by 9am and across the road to The Stalls for breakfast. Very civilised. On the road home by 10am. And that’s where the day took a nose dive.

Major hold up on the M6 meant a convoluted detour. We’ve seen Holmes Chapel, Knutsford, Warrington, Wigan and a load of other places on route.

Back on the M6 and it was still slow with various holdups. And the weather was terrible. What happened to summer?!

Finally got home at 11pm! I swear that M6 is going to cure my fear of flying!!

Lovely welcome home from Alan and Lola. Made the horrendous journey worthwhile :-)
