Dunces Corner

Not quite sure why these people were wearing caps of different colours, but they made me smile while walking around Birmingham today. They were joined shortly afterwards by a lady with a yellow cap.

Birmingham has more empty shops and units, particularly within the Bull Ring and Grand Central shopping centres. Saddest of all was the House of Fraser department store now relegated to a discount venue. Obviously a sign of changing times, but how I used to look forward to visits to my home city and its flagship stores. Not now.
