Chukka

A brief chat at the stables yesterday and L's birthday present later this month was all sorted.  A couple of L's friends from the stables were going for a polo experience and there was a space available.

We headed off to the Shrewsbury Polo Club and their 'Polo and Prosecco' offer.  Everyone had a great time and they ended up playing a chukka of polo on the grounds.  As you might imagine it is very skilful so to see the ladies go from never having swung a polo mallet, to an entertaining 4-4 draw was very impressive.  Everyone was delighted with the experience  and there were many protestations of intending to come back for another go in the future.
