Llangattock

After a morning of tidying up and packing and a quick lunch we set off for Wales. The roads were nice and quiet and we made good time, arriving in Abergavenny before our scheduled pick up from Waitrose. We therefore had a little wander about the town. I was surprised how pleasant and vibrant it is, in these days of closed shops and empty high streets. After half an hour had elapsed we continued to the supermarket to pick up our supplies. 

Twenty minutes later we were at our cottage for the week. It’s very pleasant: quiet with views towards Llangattock Hill. We spent a quiet evening reading.
