Oh, what a night…

Are you singing now? :-D

A busy few days and I’ve been blipless.

Thursday…. Was our end of year/moving up to the juniors show.  They did really well (although dress rehearsal yesterday in front of the school was better I.m.o).
Sim & Nat went for their 20 week scan and found out they were having…….. drum roll please….. A boy!  Woohoo.  They are delighted…even though they thought it was a girl lol.  So come November I will be a proud nanna to two grandsons and this newbie has got a lot to live up to to be as good as his big brother;-)

Friday…was our sports day.  Organised by Josh and a very proud mummy as he does it so well.  The weather was decidedly cooler than we’ve had recently but the rain managed to hold off. Back to school in the afternoon to clear out a cupboard.
It’s Sims stag weekend.  Starting today they met in the Brewdog Bar in Waterloo.  Mr C missed this bit as he was waiting for his brother, S, to arrive but he wasn’t too fussed anyway.  Then they all went for a Mexican meal in Covent Garden before heading off to The Flight Club (I’m not sure where that is lol) where you play all different darts games.  Speaking to Mr C the next morning he said it was great fun and something that I would enjoy too.  Mr C and his brother came back home , the rest stayed in a hotel in Wimbledon.

Now for today.  I caught up with Mr C about last night and he and his brother said it was really good fun.  I then dropped them off in Wimbledon for them to meet up for breakfast with the others.  They then headed off to Lee Valley park to do white water rafting (Mr C didn’t participate in this one but was videographer/ photographer).  I believe that was lots of fun too. Their last port of call, after a change of clothes back at the hotel ~ lederhosen for Sim, was to the Munich Cricket Club for an Oktoberfest experience.  German food, beer and oompah bands you sing and dance along too.  I’m looking forward to hearing all about but the little bits I’ve heard sound like great fun.  However, Josh bowed out early.  He’s had a very busy week and when he starts running on empty, his body can’t cope.  We’ve had this before and he needs to just rest but he was really upset that he felt he was letting Sim down.

Back to my evening, I’ve mentioned before that my head is leaving (that is her in the blip :-D) and she hosted a party at hers to celebrate. Unusually for me, I decided not to drive and Lucy was my chauffeur for the evening.  A great evening was had by all.  A Taskmaster style activities were set up for her and four others to compete in and it was hilarious .  It was when I messaged Lucy to pick me up that I found out about Josh and he had asked her to pick him up from the hotel and take him home before she came and got me.  She also dropped Natalie and another friend home.  By the time we had done that we arrived home after Mr C.  A late one but a good one.
