big fish, small pond

We're up in the Wirral for a few days for Anniemay's great niece's 18th birthday party.  We and Anniemay's sister (grandma of said niece) and her husband are by far the oldest at the party. 

The venue is their local branch of The British Legion, so if the party got too noisy we could join the locals in the other bar.  Where we'd probably be the youngest.

Before that we spent a fine afternoon walking round Grappenhall Heys Walled Garden where I snapped this fish.  It's a beautiful place, well worth a visit if you're in the area.
