Low tide

We went out to South Queensferry to meet up with D's brother-in-law for some lunch, to help break his journey from the Welsh borders to Deeside. Then we met up with our pal Old Bat and went for a very pleasant blip-wander. It was a touch breezy, true, but we saw lots of interesting bird life and some SQ lifeboat action.

We enjoyed watching the shelduck couple, meandering across the mud and hoovering up delicacies.
