Peace, perfect peace

This morning we had a superb walk around Rydal Water and along to Grasmere - I always really enjoy that walk and although it wasn’t sunny the rain held off.
We then drove up to Ullswater, as again the forecast was a bit better at that end of Cumbria. We went on the boat to Pooley Bridge where we got off and strolled into the village for coffee. Then back to Glenridding and that was a really chilly journey. The sun then came out giving us fantastic views of the mountains.
