A favourite Banksia

Banksia coccinea, the Scarlet Banksia, is one of my favourites. It grows naturally along the south coast of Western Australia and a little way inland, including the Stirling Ranges. I photographed it today in Kings Park, Perth. I was fortunate to get a cloud and rain-free hour in the park, during a drizzly day.
