Graduation

I don't normally go to the summer ceremony, but И graduated today so I signed up in case she decided to attend. The weather was awful, and standing out on the University's plastic lawn was very unappealing. Fortunately Maths had booked an adjacent indoor venue, where I had a long chat with one of my undergraduate project students, and a graduating PhD that I know.

Earlier I'd had two supervision meetings, but a third student bailed out until Thursday morning. This gave me time to do do the follow-up work and have lunch before heading into the centre of Edinburgh.
