Venice

Couldn’t decide between this or the extra. 

Drove back from Garda and dropped the car off. It seems that we kernel a wheel, and other bits of damage to the car, so had to pay a hefty premium (and claim back later). The moral is to video the car at pickup then there will be no arguments. 

Caught the water taxi from the airport into the centre. I imagined being whisked over the lagoon, not travel at 5 knots, and take over an hour. Google maps said it would take 45 minutes walking. 

We are staying pretty close to St Marks Square so just went for a walk around the area. 

As it was my birthday, we went out for a very nice meal…Venice ain’t cheap.
