Anticipated event

It's a long time since we've been to the theatre (apart from my operatic excursions, which don't count), but a glowing review for a new production of Happy Days spurred us into action.

I abhor Ticketmaster and everything they stand for, so I volunteered to go in to town and book in person to avoid their charges. I managed parking close by (extra) and made by short way from there to the Olympia Theatre's ticket office (don't get me started about the disgusting new branding of this grand old pile!). Making a special trip was worth it to cock a snoot at Ticketmaster and their rip-off charges.
