Finished the garlands while waiting for…

…the wheelchair mechanic. E had a flat tire last night. Immediately called for repair because you are not allowed to do anything about this yourself (something with insurance). It was agreed that the call would be made this morning for a time when the technician would be there. So far so good, the phone rang. A technician would contact me within two hours to indicate that he was on his way. Three and a half hours later still no message. Called again after four hours gone. Employee on the line who assured me that an emergency repair had really been arranged now and someone should be there within 45 minutes. Not so. Called again after an hour and a half. E still in bed because he cannot sit in a crooked wheelchair. Called again an hour later and asked how things were now. "Ma'am, we are standing with our backs are against the wall, we're doing our best, but it's scheduled for over two days, not for today anymore!" I won't repeat my answer, but the comment "at least you can still stand" turned out to make something clear. Within 20 minutes there now was a technician. So much for our confidence in an emergency repair team that must solve the problem of a flat tire within 2 hours. Imagen you are on your way outside!!
E has angelic patience and remains calm. My mood on the other hand is good for 15 teenagers go through puberty for at least three weeks...
