I met up with Bittersweet this morning for a walk near her new home and some lunch. I found it hard to choose just one photo, so the main is a tin church which was nestled in the woods on our walk, and I’ve added some extras as well: a derelict grain works, a view of the fields, and a shot of the scar left by a section of the Fawley to Heathrow oil pipeline that’s being replaced - they haven’t got to the reinstatement part yet so it’s still looking quite a mess.
The walk was followed by a lovely lunch, then I tootled off to my pottery class where we were glazing. I had far too many pots to glaze in one session so I’ll have to catch up next time if I’m allowed. The class is quite strict about when we do the glazing as others also need to use the glaze room so I may have to wait a few weeks.
Exhausting day, so much socialising - it really takes it out of me. I didn’t sleep well later either - my head was far too busy, I think :(
