More work on the layout tonight.  

After painting the cork and baseboard with burnt umber last night I decided to start weathering some of the trackwork in the maintenance depot.

I used the new syphon fed airbrush to spray sleeper grim on the tracks and some of the concrete hard standing where the sheds will be.  The idea being to dull everything down and make it a little dirty before starting to add some detailing and the ballast.

A couple of extras today showing some different views.  In the second extra you can see the difference this step makes when you compare the track and hard standing to the points on the left which have still to be weathered.
