Day1 Landau

Eventually got going at 16.45. Mr S still had many jobs to do, he had forgotten to do the VAT return for the first quarter, at 15.00 when we thought we were almost ready to set off…
Anyway after cleaning, washing finishing the packing we were heading north. I booked a room at Landau, about 3.5 hours north, Park Hotel. A small Spar town near the French/German border. We had dinner at the hotel, then went for a walk through the town. Very nice, huge town square, quite a few nice old buildings and really beautiful flowers everywhere. A relatively early night, both exhausted by finishing work and preparing for the holidays.
