Father and son

Today we've been trying to get stuff done. Me sewing, and getting for school again on Monday. Master Pink's homework, and Mr Pink preparing himself and the house for his trip away next week. We achieved some of it.

Miss Pink helped me to plant sunflowers and summer bulbs. Master Pink didn't do any homework. Mr Pink got some stuff done. And I sewed into the small hours again!

But the highlight for me today was watching the two boy pinks making a garden toy (throw things though the holes in the wooden board type thingy). Mr Pink taught Master Pink how to wire a plug and how to use his junior saw safely. Team work led to them making a great start on the target board, and as little boys do the spare pieces of wood became losse parts for play. The round bits were stepping stones as in Takeshi's castle, and the plank was erm The Plank. He had fun anyway.

Oh and something you don't want to hear at half past bedtime:

"Mummy, Miss Pink has cut her with her pink scissors!
