Night at the opera: Rigoletto

Fantastic evening watching Rigoletto in the colosseum in Verona. We started with dinner in a restaurant facing the colosseum then a fabulous performance to follow.

This morning we cycled into the old town and up to the castle for coffee then a bit of shopping in the piazzas. We then had a bit of time to test at the campsite before setting off on the bikes again, dressed for the opera! The extras show the view from the castle and also the colosseum. We’d forgotten how lovely Verona is.
