On the Bridle Path

Before we had our lunch we went for a walk. Maeve the Deerhound was walking very slowly in the warm sunshine. When we got to the bridle path we let her off her lead to go at her own pace. She wandered along behind, stopping to sniff things, to nibble things, and to have a look around. I took advantage of the stopping and grabbed a quick shot of her looking across the field :-)

If we get too far ahead she soon realises and comes racing along. It sounds like horses galloping up behind us. Then, of course, she forgets to put the brakes on and comes thundering by and coasts to a stop. I'm sure she has a little smile to herself if we have to jump out of the way !
