Anticipation
Took Kyro out just after 7am. It was already hotting up and the air was still.
Thunder was forecast but none materialised and only a light rainfall too which evaporated on contact with the ground. It's been quite warm under cloud cover.
The foxes had left a pink toy owl in the garden. Which nobody us clainin3g on the street WhatsApp group.
OH discovered this afternoon that someone had hit the windscreen. The middle of the base of the windscreen shows signs of the point of impact with cracks radiating to the rest of the glass. There are no chips as when stones impact the windscreen and no glass was inside on the dashboard.
I didn't look at the car when I took Kyro out this morning. Last night I did hear people and music in the but it was difficult to tell if it emanated from a house and front garden. Recently a neighbour had their motorcycle stolen and this street over the years has experienced burglaries including us.
My blip is a mimosa pudica commonly known as a Sensitive Plant. It folds its leaves up if touched or the window is opened. After a while they open up again. I like its silhouette in this small window in the kitchen.
Debbie the daughter of Edith whose funeral we attended on Thursday visited this evening to thank us for attending.
Pleasant evening everyone.
