Huonville

My last day in Tassie and, after a delayed birthday brunch (cant brunch on a workday) we headed to Huonville, about 40km from Hobart. A has worked there for the past 5 weeks but has not had time to explore the town. We found some great oppies - bought some knitting patterns - and walked along the river where trees, planted as a memorial 100 years ago, are being turned into sculptures as they reach the end of their lives. This one pays tribute to the apple orchardists.
I've had a very special holiday....a wonderful gift from my wonderful kids and I am missing them all.
