A few extra minutes

I planned a simple dinner...reheated ad soup and toast. But I got very involved in a very good book - The Other Side of Beautiful (horrible title which I am still trying to figure out)about a woman who hasn't left her home for 3 years and then her home burns down - and before I finished just one more chapter, there was no light and salad for dinner!
