Very sad about Mark Cavendish, loosing on Friday by a fraction of a second because of a problem with his gears then on Saturday falling off as a result of a very innocuous looking incident and breaking his collar bone. Its difficult to imagine how bad he must feel , finishing his last Tour like this. Hopefully he will remember he is still the joint record holder for stage wins with Eddie Merckx, a record that has stood unchallenged for almost 50 years. He is also still the greatest sprinter the Tour de France has ever seen.
