Friday Fun

At last the sun broke through, temperatures soared and two very dear friends joined us for a day on the beach at Joss Bay (just outside Broadstairs). As it turned out to be baking we spent pretty much most of the day playing at badminton matches, burying Milo in the sand, Bodyboarding on the sudden surf that had popped up (makes me sound much cooler than I actually am), and soaking up he sun.

Early evening we headed into Broadstairs for a great meal at Wyatt and Jones restaurant. Where this photo of Graham having Milo in stitches was taken. Would recommend the restaurant and the company as well as The Chapel bookshop/ale house that followed. A fine end to the holiday.
