..the great thing about a poly-tunnel is that you can potter, pull a few weeds up, put some strings up for runner beans, tomatoes and cucumbers (till I ran out of string). Nice and warm..

Went up to Durness to get some fenceposts, and went for a walk on Traigh Allt Chailgeag, Beach of the river woman. Apparently a woman was reaching into the swollen river to get water when she slipped and fell. Her body was found on the beach..

Beautiful place, normally the haunt of surfers, but today, we had it to ourselves until we walked back.. Love the curve of this dune..

The cliff top road here had a very sharp hairpin bend before it was made safer
