We had quite a pleasant, sunny morning so when I got back from an appointment in the village I had a wander round the garden. I’m really pleased that my blue hydrangea has come back this year after cutting it right back to the ground because it had got too big and completely out of shape. It didn’t flower last year but is covered this summer.

We have just got drenched walking to and from the post office this afternoon, but bumped into some old friends there and had a lovely chat.
