The birthday that keeps on giving!

For my birthday in May, one of our friends had included inside the card they gave me an invitation for a birthday tea at a time of our choosing.  So that's what we did this afternoon!  We went to have a slap up tea with them - such a lovely idea, all beautifully laid out with delicious sandwiches, mini cakes and eclairs, etc.  What's missing from this photo are the beautiful scones she'd also made, complete with jam and clotted cream, which were still warm.  What a treat!  We were told to arrive hungry so we didn't have lunch and I don't think we'll be having any supper either!
