Sputnik

This tiny geranium seed head covered in raindrops reminds me of Sputnik, for some odd reason!  Sputnik was the first satellite sent into Earth's orbit by the Soviet Union in 1957 and I can remember learning about it at school when I was about four and a half and looking up into the sky with my class mates expecting/hoping to see it!
