Jane and Adelaide

Today we visited some lovely areas around some lakes. We smashed rocks (Hugh wanted to find gold, unfortunately no luck) and just generally explored. We got to go out in these paddle boats which I really enjoyed. I paddled with mum and I'm pleased to say we were way better than the boys. We covered probably four times as much ground when we went out to explore an island instead of sitting stationary in the middle of the lake, and even after that we beat them easily in a race.
We also saw the pencil museum which was interesting but sort of a bit of a joke in itself. It's not everyday you see a pencil museum. Mum seemed to thoroughly enjoy the gift shop so I suppose it was a win.
