Jane's scooter

I think we probably brought this scooter with us so that Jane could use it, but at the moment she's not really using it at all. With Henry being as sick and weak as he is he generally tends to use it, but when he's not using it Hugh's normally the one whizzing around at death defying speeds. 
We drove to York today, but as soon as we got out of the car Hugh was blasting around the place on Jane's little pink scooter. It's pretty funny to watch actually, although he is arguably getting good at it. 
We went to a Viking museum sort of thing. It was really just a long slow ride, and I don't want to compare it to a haunted house train but that's practically what it was. It was interesting of course for those few of us that chose to have our commentary in English (Hugh unfortunately chose chinese) but it was full of probably 30 or so robotic humans. The room was dark and these people were just plain creepy. 
We visited a historic house where we learnt about Anne Fairfax, which was really beautiful. We're staying in a houseboat which I am really excited about, although there are eels in the water which makes me less inclined to jump off the roof. The views are really gorgeous, especially right now because it's 9 o'clock and here that means the sun is sort of nearly starting to set.
