Spot the ladybird! 
Apologies for my lack of comments lately. We seem to have suffered a crazy start to this summer. First off, an already costly repointing and reflashing to our 2 chimney stacks has evolved into the need to have a complete rebuild of both stacks. Add to that MrsW requiring expensive course of dental surgery and our rainy day savings have hit a bit of a monsoon. 
However the saddest part (they say things come in 3's) is the imminent passing of our dear little cat Lily. She has Feline Infectious Peritonitis which is basically incurable. Laura at the vets told us to take her home for the weekend and spoil her, which isn't easy as the poor little creature is eating and drinking almost nothing. She has spent most of the time dozing under the bamboo and it came to the point yesterday when we were hoping we would find she'd just passed there in her sleep. But it hasn't happened so I think we need to make the appointment tomorrow. We don't want her to suffer. 
There will be better days but this one is a bit of a sod. :-(
