Feels for eels

I don't like eels but it's not often you see them being sold! Is it?!

Need some help quickly: we are planning a day trip to Bruges.

We know most places close on a Monday so we were thinking of going Wednesday or Thursday.

Places to visit? We'd like to do the Dali gallery and chocolate places, obviously! We know the market is there on Wednesday so that's swaying it a bit...

Is there anywhere else nearby we could visit? Any good little markets or malls or the Belgian equivalent of Carrefour possibly?

I'd like to book the ferry tickets tonight so any quick advice would be helpful so I can look it up =D
