My day began in Cairo with a very productive meeting with clients there. After the call we went to buy some midsummer planting to squeeze into T’s new garden plan. We had to dodge the rain showers to complete this task this afternoon.

All our water butts are overflowing. I have temporarily suspended our grey water collection system as the rain is redressing moisture levels. Cotswold reservoirs may take longer to rebuild their stocks
