Birthday

I went to London today to meet some friends for lunch. As I arrived at Waterloo Station, I saw lots of these banners advertising the 175th anniversary of the station. There were lots of exhibition boards detailing the history of the station, including the station being the first to have a Costa coffee kiosk in 1984. There was also a large group singing - the songs I heard were Waterloo Sunset and Love Train!

This evening W and I went to the BBC Radio 4 recording of Brain of Britain. It is now in its 70th series.
