Bus Pass Walk
First Bus Pass Walk for a while for me, and I couldn't get my walking boots on because of my swollen ankle! Reverted to trainers so just hoped it wouldn't rain as they are the mesh type and soon let in water. Bus to Eldwick and a walk over Shipley Glen. We then went into the Half Moon Cafe for a coffee. After that we walked up through Saltaire and a bus back to Bingley. Scenes from Roberts Park iny collage, plus a huge group of fungi spotted on a tree by the Shipley Glen Tramway. Our usual cafe in Bingley was full, so we went to the Craft Cafe. Like it there as they usually have unusual specials, or an interesting way of presenting dishes. It was also pretty full, but they moved some people around to fit us in. AuntieP had previously mentioned their roasted mushrooms and tomatoes on toast - 4 of us opted for that, and very tasty it was too, and very filling. Didn't need any tea! It poured down whilst we were in the cafe, but had virtually stopped when we left, so we were certainly lucky with the weather today!
