The shaping power of water
Headed of down Moffat way to the Grey Mare's Tail Waterfall and another "outdoor Church" for us to consider.
The weather was fab and the point of the day was to look at the shaping power of the water and how it affects the things (ie rocks) it comes in contact with and relate that to how - if we allow ourselves - God can shape and mould us by His Holy Spirit.
A good day (overall - minor hic-up due to the kids deciding that both were being unfair and decided to vocalise it!!! Sorry to those who were enjoying a peaceful time at the loch) was had and it did make me stop and think do I allow God - who loves me completely and only wants what is best for me - to shape and mould me.
Shaping can be painful / overwhelming and at times uncomfortable...but if you know that the one who does the shaping is doing it for the best....then it is worth it.
Hope you had a great weekend.
