A precious ball of wholeness
Sent out for a task - simple (or so it sounded) really....it was to capture a "dandylion clock"...well that's what my wife calls it.
It was it illustrate a poem that she had written - I think she was happy with the image but I would have liked to have brought it home and worked on the composition a bit more - the wind would not let me..so its in the wild, where its meant to be that the shot was taken...and the poem.......
A precious ball of wholeness
Standing proud against
the dull grey wall
full of promise and potential
but yet so easily ignored.
This simple plant
speaks to me.....
A picture of your church
The long thin stem providing
strength and goodness,
In it, I see You, Lord
The seed head at the centre
to which everything is joined
Holding all life together
In it, I see You, Almighty God.
And when Your
Holy Spirit blows,
We also like seeds,
full of promise
Are carried to places
near and far,
Taking Your love
and bringing Your life,
To those places
of dull, grey walls.
