GERROFF!

Is there time for a second brood of swallows this year? These two seem to think there might be. This was going on on the wire opposite the front door of our holiday cottage, and there's an existing nest just above the front door which they were making swooping passes towards.

Extras show deer in the field across the lane late last evening and an umbellifer reflected in the loch which caught my eye during a walk this afternoon.
