Homeward Bound

One of only three shots taken today; the others were looking backwards off the ferry out at sea, and the obligatory shot of aeroplanes on the apron taken out of the departure hall window.  This one was when we first got up at 5.45am (that's 3.45am UK time) looking from the balcony of the apartment.  We finally arrived home at about 8.30pm.

The garden looks as though someone has been in and planted bouquets all around it; the leucanthemuns have burst into bloom while we were away and look magnificent.  Which is more than can be said for the lawn; clearly I didn't do a good job of evenly spreading the lawn feed I put down before we left.  Something to rectify over the next few days.

Talking of which, I'll catch up on blip in the next few days too; got a bit distracted in the last days of the holiday.  Now to have a proper British beer and probably an early night!
