First Day Back Blip

Pretty much the usual 'first day back from holiday' day.  Unpacked the cases, did three loads of washing, hung out three loads of washing, brought three loads of washing in pretty sharpish when it started raining, bought a new fly swatter.  Cut the grass too, which rather surprised a small mouse that seemed to have got used to having the overgrown lawn to itself.

I took a shot of the water feature area of the garden; the flowers are looking good but there are too many grasses.  They are covering the water feature so at least three of them will have to be removed.  Otherwise, everything is filling in really well and any worries I had last year after it was planted that there were too many bare spaces have well and truly gone.  The little table and chairs look good there but in practice can't really be used as the white lavender at the base of the posts has grown so big and is constantly covered in bees.
